These wireless networks were originally located in highly populated areas such as urbanisations in the Costa's, but are now expanding into other areas as the principal is rolled out to satisfy demand for cheaper internet access, especially when compared to two-way satellite access.
This system can give you broadband speed internet access when you are in range of a transmitter, and gives you the opportunity to have both broadband internet connections - up to 4 Mbit/s - and full telephone facilities in almost any location in town or country. The costs can be dramatically lower than Telefónica's. And so can the waiting times!
